Therapy for Anxiety & Depression
Reconnect with yourself and discover Peace
You’re functioning on the outside. So why do you feel like you’re falling apart inside?
The pressure to do life “right” and fear of doing it “wrong” feels paralyzing. Expectations and obligations weigh you down. You find yourself over-analyzing, over-compensating, or over-reacting. It all feels like too much, yet somehow not enough.
You've worked hard to build the life you thought you wanted, but beyond all the achievements, you still feel unsettled and unfulfilled.
Anxiety and depression often exist as two sides of the same survival coin. One side compels you to keep moving, grasp for control, find the solution, make a plan. The other side leaves you feeling stuck, depleted, immobilized, discouraged, emotionally numb.
Sometimes you can barely move. Other times, you just want to run away and start over.
There's a quiet tension and growing restlessness beneath the surface.
Sound familiar?

No matter what you accomplish, it never feels like enough. You long to fulfill your potential, but the goalposts keep moving.
You strive for perfection while comparing yourself to people who seem to be “doing life better.” Achievements and accolades offer only temporary relief before self-doubt returns. It’s just a matter of time before someone discovers you’re not as smart or capable as they think.
Preoccupied with what others think, you find yourself constantly trying to prove your worth and exhausted by the effort. As your own worst critic, you keep score of every mistake while discounting every success. The more you achieve, the less you seem to trust yourself.

You hold it all together, but feel like it could all fall apart in an instant. You juggle endless expectations, responsibilities, and the pressure to perform, while inside, you feel like a tangled web of nerves.
Some days you move frantically from one task to the next, hoping to stay ahead. Other days, your thoughts spiral, leaving you paralyzed by uncertainty. Even the simplest things can feel monumental.
You replay conversations, second-guess decisions, and anticipate worst-case scenarios. By the end of the day, you’re exhausted, yet the moment your head hits the pillow, you struggle to quiet the constant noise in your mind. You can’t remember the last time you truly felt at peace.
-
You feel stuck and stagnant, repeating the same cycles, and doubting that anything will ever change.
The future feels uncertain and heavy ~ personally, globally, or both. Current events, politics, and the pressure to figure it all out leave you wanting to crawl into a hole and hide. You feel disillusioned and powerless. The weight of it all feels oppressive, leaving you emotionally drained.
You go through the motions, but every task feels exhausting. You feel alone, even around people who care about you. Defeated and numb, you begin to check out and withdraw from everyone and everything. You feel empty, discouraged, and disconnected from the things that once brought you joy. You know the things you “should” do to feel better, but your motivation has faded and hope feels lost.

You've played by the rules for so long that you've forgotten why you're playing. You built a life that felt safe and secure, yet somewhere along the way it became predictable and unfulfilling. You once valued stability, but now find yourself craving novelty, spontaneity, and something that feels more meaningful.
You spent so much time and energy pursuing your goals, you’ve lost touch with yourself… your values, your voice, your purpose. You’ve oriented your life around what others need or expect, and now you're no longer sure who you are or what you truly want. You begin to wonder if you've mistaken conformity for confidence.
Your priorities are shifting. The life that once fit no longer feels aligned with the person you're becoming. It’s almost as though you’ve outgrown yourself. You feel unseen, misunderstood, and taken for granted. The thought of making a change feels both exhilarating and terrifying. Beneath it all is a growing hunger—not to become someone new, but to finally become yourself.
there’s nothing wrong with you…
Anxiety and depression aren't character flaws. They’re often intelligent responses to prolonged stress, loss, trauma, relentless striving, or years of trying to survive by staying in control.
Your brain and nervous system are designed to help you adapt to stress and protect you from threat. Anxiety is part of your internal alarm system that responds to uncertainty, anticipates danger, prepares for action, and solves problems. When that alarm stays activated for too long, it begins to take a toll. What was once protective can become exhausting, leaving you mentally, emotionally, and physically depleted.
As exhaustion sets in, your body and mind begin conserving energy. Over time, that chronic depletion can start to look and feel like depression. You slow down, withdraw, or disconnect as your nervous system tries to recover. Everything feels heavier. You numb out, avoid, or struggle to care about things the way you once did. The future seems bleak. You’ve been carrying too much for too long.
Anxiety and depression often coexist. One keeps you moving, planning, controlling, analyzing, striving. The other leaves you feeling stuck, drained, and unable to imagine things getting better. Together, they can create a cycle of frustration and fatigue that's difficult to escape without support.
Anxiety and depression aren’t signs of weakness or failure. They're signals that something needs attention, care, and compassion… not judgement or criticism. Healing begins not by fixing yourself, but by understanding yourself.
How we’ll work together
Therapy helps you move beyond your symptoms to create safety, connection, and trust within.
Anxiety and depression develop when we've spent years surviving, striving, adapting, or trying to hold everything together. Therapy offers a space to slow down, explore what's beneath the surface, and reconnect with yourself.
Drawing from EMDR, parts work (IFS), mindfulness, somatic awareness, attachment theory, and other evidence-based approaches, I tailor therapy to your unique needs and goals. Together, we’ll cultivate practical ways to calm your nervous system, regulate overwhelming emotions, and find steadiness amid life's inevitable uncertainties.
Rather than simply silencing symptoms, we'll become curious about what they're trying to communicate. We'll explore the significant experiences, relationships, and roles that have shaped you, survival strategies you’ve developed, and the tender vulnerability you've learned to protect.
Healing begins with understanding, not judging or eliminating symptoms.
As your nervous system begins to settle, something else starts to emerge.
At the end of the day, I want you to know:
Past experiences don’t have to continue holding you back. You are stronger than montes nascetur ridiculus mus mauris vitae. Placerat duis ultricies lacus sed.
What’s possible?
Imagine a life where you…
Experience peace that doesn't depend on everything being under control.
